3rd Mix CD-r currently SOLD OUT - 3rd printing soon..

Just a heads up letting everyone know that the limited 2nd printing of the 3rd mix cd-r is sold out.  I was only able to make a very small 2nd run because I ran out of plastic sleeves OOPS!.  However don't fret, I ordered 500 more sleeves and should be arriving to the CCHQ any day now.  3rd printing will be done in batches of 25 ending at a limit of 100 if they sell that well.  i am really pleased with how this project turned out and expect a copy to come with the new quarterly zine as soon as the contributing writers turn in their record reviews.  Until then, please no more orders for this cd-r until further notice  Cheers!

Pointless Existence #1 is SOLD OUT + printing news updates

CCPP012 - Pointless Existence #1 is currently SOLD OUT but a second printing will be made exclusively for Chicago Zine Fest coming up in the next few weeks.   We hope to see you there.

Martin Gonzalez is currently working on issue #2 and CCPP will announce further updates on the new issue as they happen.

In other CCPP news, Omaha illustrator Taylor Smith is currently working on his second cut-up art zine, and hopefully he will have something ready for us to bring to Chicago.  More updates soon.

Also happening in the CCPP camp, I will be finishing up my call for open submissions for my next local cd-r comp. that will be unveiled at Chicago Zine Fest.  This will only give me a few days to work on the packaging, but I will be on vacation, so I'll have plenty of time to finish the project.  I'll also have some re-printings of my latest NUQ zine available for Chicago as well.

In final news, I will also be bringing some zines along to Chicago from local transplant Christopher Vaughn Couse as well as anyone else who can get their zine in my mits before I leave for Chicago on the 8th.  So if you have something you want to donate for the CCPP table, get in touch.

Welcome Martin Gonzalez to CCPP

Martin Gonzalez grew up in Los Angeles and has moved to Omaha fairly recently and with him he brought a breath of fresh air into the local punk scene with his taste in music and attitude.  After working diligently for weeks, Martin finally has his first zine available titled Pointless Existence printed via Crucial Changes Printing Press.

This punk and metal fanzine features well written interviews with Danish d-beat puckers Nuclear Death Terror, Swedish raw punx Raw Hate, and local blackened noise Vickers. A written column by LA scenester CaliGlock (in Spanish),  plus a few album reviews, and photos.  A strong first effort.

20 pages, b&w, half sized, heavy cover is red or blue, first pressing limited to 40 copies.
